About This Resource

The Basic Needs Ministry is one of the Women’s Ministries. Our goal is to honor God by helping people and showing them the spirit of the Lord. We serve by providing food and gently-used clothing to needy families and by sewing comfort pillows and caps for cancer patients. We are open for distributio+G1833n every Thursday from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm. Clients are required to complete an application and show one form of identification at the Front Desk. We have men’s, women’s, and children’s gently-used clothing in our Clothes Closet along with shoes, purses, and various accessories. Each family member may have four complete outfits of clothing, two pairs of shoes, purses, and accessories. Families may shop every 90 days for clothes. We also have one shelving unit for dishes, bedding, lamps, and small items for the home. There are no limits as to how many items a family may take from this shelving unit. The Food Pantry provides a three day supply of non-perishable food items. The amount given
