What a Client Can Expect at COMPASS: An interview with a caseworker, to assess needs and create a plan of action. The plan may include: ◦Basic Needs such as food, housing, transportation, voice-mail, and clothing. ◦More Complicated Matters: the need for chemical dependency treatment, mental health treatment, or employment counseling. ◦Referrals in various matters: budgeting, legal assistance, chemical dependency treatment, mental health and medical care, and job training. •Our staff may also offer direct assistance with the cost of an ID, a haircut, toiletries, snacks, clothes and METRO Money bus cards. •Homeless clients may apply for a Harris County Hospital
