You can apply for our services locally by calling (915)585-5183 Monday – Friday, from 9:00-11:30am and from 1:30-4:30pm. Emergency Intake: The following are cases are considered for emergency intake at the TRLA branch office in El Paso: •Cases where the client has been served with papers and they have an answer deadline, •Cases with a discovery deadline, •Cases where the client is about to lose his or her shelter, either through eviction or foreclosure, •Cases where the client is at the end of a statute of limitations deadline All emergency intake cases are to be approved by the branch manager. Other callers who have tried to access the TAJ number unsuccessfully, but who’s cases are not considered emergencies, are put on a call back list and called within 1-2 days. Only handle 6 calls of this type per day, on a first-come first-serve basis.
