- outreach/localmissions Food assistance - Appointment required - One day per week: Tuesday 9:00 am - 1:00 pm Living Water is the local outreach ministry of Lifegate Church. The Living Water Food Ministry reaches out to thousands of families in the Denton area throughout the year. Lifegate Church presently holds one annual outreach event called, Thanksgiving Basket Outreach, and looks to expand the ministry in the future. The Food Ministry distributes food weekly to families, sharing God's love with them in tangible ways. In addition, we are not only meeting physical needs, but we also meet their spiritual needs. We believe in helping the whole person: putting food in their stomachs, as well as giving them hope, and demonstrating the love of Jesus Christ.
